Two concerts of chamber music in St Mary Magdalene Thornham Magna.
We look forward to the return of Corentin Chassard and friends, who together have assembled two great concerts of chamber music for this year's festival weekend. It is always something of an event when the piano enters the church, and to hear it used to the full in these programmes will again be very exciting. Schubert's great Bb major Piano Trio is the major work on Friday evening, and on Sunday we build up to Schumann's Piano Quartet in Eb major.
